Passport Reader Software
	The Passport Reader Software is a special OCR software combined with the ability of reading RFID tags printed inside of the new ePassports.

Optical Character Recognition is a method used by the computer to convert the images of characters to a machine understandable and editable format (e.g. ASCII or Unicode). In our case the input is the captured digital image(s) of the passport's data page.

In the passport reader device the high accuracy rate OCR engine is able to read the MRZ information of all the ICAO 9303 standard documents. Additionally it can be trained to read the printed information from any other zone of the document. These zones are called together as Visual Inspection Zone.
